I see the new kickstarter is about to open, 9pm tomorrow (Tuesday), for the second set of machines, with an early bird discount for the first 100. Sign up here for notification:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sp ... xt-issue-2

They will, I think, build exactly as many as people pledge for. There will probably be some re-sales on ebay - possible at extreme prices.

I don't like that keybaord! Give me a BBC keyboard any day!
I am more tempted to get an MSX if I am honest.

Did you get an Early Bird?

£450,000 in first 30 mins. Not pledging myself, just watching.

I backed it too. While it's cost more than I was originally expecting, there's a lot less risk than the first Kickstarter as the team and product are both proven.

One of the main reasons I've backed it is the BeebFPGA port. That made it a must-have purchase.

I tried but the pledge timed out. So I went for the accelerated version. I am backer #737. That's how fast it went

If it had been next year I might have gone for one, but too many things requiring cash in a year where cash is harder to come by this time around. Maybe for campaign 3 ..., :)

Edit: plus I don’t physical have anymore space.

That's certainly a possibility...not sure how much space is left in the core but should be possible

Good for you Dave! I was ready to be one of the first 100 backers but of course ended up being the 737th backer
And so the long wait begins....

And I'm backer 3456 :) Was disappointed with missing out on the first batch, so pleased to be part of this second round.
