Spotted this Atom on ebay, it's not in bad nick, but there's some odd wiring on the bottom of the keyboard.....

Wonder what that's all about ?

Cheers.

Probably fixing the broken keys he talks about?

The other wires possibly going to the red button on the back to be the break key?

Except that the two green wires seem to go between the break key and something else, to me anyways...

Yeah I wondered about that.

It looks like the ','-key is broken and replaced with the BREAK-key.
The BREAK key is disconnected and replaced with the red button on the back.

Following his feedback as a buyer, I came across the item as he bought it (for £122):

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220932843529

He says he's not very technical, yet it appears that he's the one who hacked the button and extra wires in, 'cuz there's no red button on the source machine (actually, it looks like all the keys work on that one, maybe it is a replacement..)

Anyway, he seems to be a collector.
