<me>Rubs Hands</me>

Can't wait...

I'm hoping I'm somewhere near the top of the list already but if not, please add me to the list of takers.

Yep you are, and IIRC you wanted a RAM-ROM board too, which I think I built but delayed sending out as there was a potential incompatibility with Sirmorris's MMC interface, but that's resolved now....

Cheers.

And installed in my Atom.

I was gonna post a screenshot, but find it's slightly blury due to camera shake :( So I'll take another tonight and upload.

Cheers.

Are these easy to install? Looks like they're both push-fit installs. (Please?)

No cutting or snipping? No de-soldering or re-soldering?

I don't want my poor Atom looking like some of eBay's recent loft-finds. They've been scraping the barrel just recently with some of the driftwood that's shown up on there.

No offence intended if they've been sold by anyone frequenting the board here but the STATE of some of the more recent Atom's that've been showing up online? Yeesh!

Nope they are push fit. The RAM-ROM, you remove the 6502 from it's socket plug it into the ram-rom board and then plug that into the main board, you also need to remove the three roms and the ram chips on the left of the machine (the base ram).

The colour board you remove the video RAM 2114s as the colour board has a single 8K ram, you also need to remove the 74ls138 next to the 6847, the board then plugs into 3 of the ram sockets and the vacated ls138 socket. There is also a short length of 10 way cable to connect it to pl4 on the atom board.

Hi Phill,

looks great! At last a decent color card for the Atom =D>

I want to strip my second Atom and make it original (again).
Then I want to replace the RAM/ROM and video RAM with your boards.

Do you ship to Holland? If so, can you tell me the prices for the RAM/ROM and the color board?

Greetings
KC

Just to keep people up to speed, just ordered the extra components I need to make the boards up, hopefully those should arrive later this week. I'll then be able to start making boards up.

Cheers.
