The Digital Antiquarian

Post by davidb »

I thought people here might be interested to know that The Digital Antiquarian blog is currently covering aspects of the Cambridge/Acorn scene. There have already been articles about The BBC Micro and Phoenix and Acornsoft.

Good find. The BBC Micro article shows up another small set of discrepancies with the Micro Men narrative, most obviously the date of the Proton demonstration, now placed in December 1980 rather than the following July as implied by the footage of the royal wedding -- although a year does seem a long time to sit on a prototyped design until mass production.
