apdl.co.uk lost

Post by Trapper » Fri Sep 14, 2018 12:03 am

I was trying to get a hold of the ArcIN manual and discovered that apdl.co.uk has gone and is now one of those "Up for sale" ripoff merchants.

Very, very sad. Reminds me of acorn.co.uk.

PS Does anyone have the above manual?!

This was likely due to the death of Dave Holden who ran APDL. An archive site with most of the content is here

Do they still host the ArcIN-v6 drivers, tools and manuals?

Nope. You could try contacting 3qd and see how far you get? They bought all the hardware iirc... http://www.riscos.com/

ArcIn is thankfully on the all encompassing Chris's Acorns site. Sadly now archived but still online:

http://chrisacorns.computinghistory.org ... tware.html

Specifically

http://chrisacorns.computinghistory.org ... ils317.arc

also :

IDEA Manuals (V1 and V2)

http://chrisacorns.computinghistory.org ... S_ideA.pdf (1990)

http://chrisacorns.computinghistory.org ... deAEd2.pdf (1992)

does this help ?
