The A4 was based on the ARM3 chip and its case was from the Triumph Adler 386 Walkstation.

There bloody isn't! Regular Pis may be reasonable board dimensions, but have you seen how tall they are?

A Pi Zero W might well fit, though...

Have you seen the thickness of that laptop? It's no macbook air. (Of course it remains true that a zero will always be an easier fit.)

Raspberry Pi 3 is just under 22mm thick. The first shielded PS/2 socket I found on Mouser stands 13mm above the PCB, and that's the tallest thing I'm seeing in these photos.

By contrast a Pi Zero W is only 5mm thick.
