Beeb in prime position in this Norwegian educational program, about the 2 min mark. And, they then run a Richard T Russell version of Basic called Kontiki-Basic on the nearby Kontiki machine.

I've had a bit of a look at the Microprocessors episode nearby, and there's another Beeb on view there.

Very interesting! Thanks for pointing out the program. I didn't realise you understood Norwegian, BigEd. :)

I don't yet, but these programmes seem the ideal way to learn!

You need to keep watching this episode. They get to play a Norwegian geography game on the Beeb a few minutes later. :)

I do like the unaffected presentation style. And the Beeb gets a good showing there before the C64 turns up.

Found in the foyer of Conwy Library:

Picture is the organiser's, not mine. My camera had a sulk and didn't keep the photos I'd taken.

A local primary school's recently closed for redevelopment, and they were holding an exhibition and gathering ex-pupils' recollections. The organiser had taken to twitter to find a Beeb to borrow, and had loaded Granny's Garden from a cassette player. I've loaned them a floppy drive to connect up to it and add to the experience.

(The picture behind the cub monitor is of the school's Beeb. In the foreground there's an unplugged Acorn Data Recorder, and the upturned box of a Cumana Floppy Drive. It seems the picture was taken on the occasion of the school getting a floppy drive to use with its Beeb!)

Preserved in aspic.

It guarantees to age you double, instantly.

And look at the large incantation in the cabinet: GAME OVER. That's it, curtains buddy. You're in the morgue now!
