(Mod: a link to a minor update, 0.6-1, is in a reply below)

After much mucking about and generally being lazy... I've finally got around to finishing BeebEm for GP2X 0.6! :D

New features:

* Better video emulation.
* Nicer user interface.

Enjoy!

Weeee .... it's what my GP2x was made for ... :)

I was a bit concerned when I last saw a screenshot that the wonderful BBC keyboard graphic had gone - I can see I needn't've worried!

Can't wait to try this out this weekend ... :)

Just a follow-up post. I've upgraded from 0.5 and had a play now - the new keyboard options where the stick diagonal directions can now be assigned to represent two key presses is excellent! It makes Chuckie Egg really playable! Still find Repton a bit clunky, but I think that might just be the game ... :) Also, the graphics now comfortably stretch to fit the GP2x screen, instead of cramming the screen over to the left.

Overall - fantastic job. I have just noticed for the first time that the emulator is Model B only. Still, that's good enough for most things - just no Master-enhanced or 6502-enhanced Elite ... which is a shame. Mainly because I spent an age last year achieving Elite status again on ElitePPC, which was soooo handy to carry around! :)

I just noticed (bit late!) that there was a minor update to this release of BeebEm for GP2x:

Probably worth mentioning here, for the record.
