Would love to see emulation for the User Port and touch-screen added so it will work with some of the special needs educational stuff.
I'm interested in adding the Touchtec 501. The user port is already emulated for mouse and Watford Speech, isn't the Touchtec connected to RS423 though? Were there other touch screen solutions that used the user port?

For the Touchtec does anyone have an image of the firmware that runs on the 6511Q?

The Touchtec 501 is connected via the RS232 (and takes extra power from underneath but not important).

I don't have the firmware, but I know Matt Godbolt managed to get it working recently (you can see it here if you SHIFT+BREAK then use a mouse and left-click to act as the touch-screen:

https://bbc.godbolt.org/?autoboot&disc= ... 1.ssd?dl=0

BeebEm got compatibility too from a request I made many years ago, although I've forgotten to whom.

I can ask him if he has any thoughts if helpful. Would be brilliant to get this working.

Thanks, I wasn't aware that either of those supported the Touchtech, which is surprising. I'll take a look.

In BeebEm (I use version 4.14 for Windows)... Go to Comms, turn RS232 on and output to Microvitec Touch Screen.

Here's a big batch of Touch Screen software that may be useful to test with: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7385bjbb1fyd ... 6X9Ra?dl=0
