Hi Sydney,
ref Hyper Sports...

I have a suspicion that this is another DFS under emulation problem - like E-Type, Repton Infinity and Clogger and may need the 1770 DFS or Watford DFS selecting in order to correctly load all their files.

If someone could let us know.

Mick.

Not sure if you saw this cross-thread, but I wrote a program that looked at all the game titles and spotted some duplicates (based on the DSD's leenew sent me)

Sea Wolf (Disc051) already exists on Disc018
Duck! (Disc058) already exists on Disc026
Reversi (Disc082) already exists on Disc076
Darts (Disc087) already exists on Disc057
Adventure (Disc095) already exists on Disc092
Robin Of Sherwood (Disc100) already exists on Disc055
Battleships (Disc113) already exists on Disc082
Lunar Run (Disc114) already exists on Disc113
Fruity (Disc114) already exists on Disc107
Napoleon (Disc115) already exists on Disc114

Unsure if these are real duplicates or not. Napoleon and Lunar Run generate identical SSDs when using my split-program.

Hi Sweh,

All the above games are simply same title but different game except...

Lunar Run (Disc114) already exists on Disc113
Napoleon (Disc115) already exists on Disc114

These 2 were simply placeholders on discs I was creating and sent to Lee.
I had to change some titles around as I discovered I had already got them under different names and software companies - The games taken off discs 113 and 114 will be available via Alternative disc 010 in a few weeks.

Regards,
Mick.

I tend to avoid the Times Square area as much as possible; it's too full of tourists.

Oh, I don't have any problems; was wasn't expecting those results and so asked about them ;-) If you say they're good then that's fine by me :-)

Another question, though; the title for disc 112 is "D*.C 112" - is that correct?

Hi Sweh,

My copies of disc 112 currently seem OK - where did you get yours from?

Mick.

Created in April 2017... here is Games Disc 114.
Disc114.zip
(141.38 KiB) Downloaded 203 times
The disc is called Disc114.dsd so it can be loaded into a Datacentre on a real BBC without having to rename it.

The 18 games on this disc include...

Trawler by S. R. Whiting.
Death Zone by Tom Lindberg.
Gotta Go Home from Viking Software.
Miss Fortune And The Seven Keys by Adrian Smith.
Bridge To The East from Ixion Software.
Break-Out (Classic Arcade Games) from Ganymede Systems Ltd.
Downhill Skier by S. W. Thomas.
Sailplane! from Pavilion Software.
Amazing by James Bridson.
Ploy from The Micro User (3.12).
Napoleon from Molimerx Limited.
Time Lords from Red Shift Ltd.
Diamond Trial (E) from Electron Computing (#3).
War Games (Tobruk and Salamanca) by C. T. McGurk.
Jolly Jake's Escape from Arrowsoft.
Five In A Row by Michael Bawtree.
Hypersmash by James Farmer.
Fruity from Odyssey.

NOTE: Death Zone allows you to save your score/position to disc.
Also, due to a minor graphics fault with BeebEm 4.14, Gotta Go Home does not work properly. However, it has been modified to detect BeebEm 4.14 and patch the problem. It works normally with B-em 2.2 and on a real BBC Micro. You can also save your score/position to disc.
Also, Miss Fortune And The Seven Keys has had some of its game control keys changed in order to work better with a QWERTY keyboard.
Lastly, Bridge To The East resets the disc drive (so requires *DTRAP on a real BBC Micro with a Datacentre fitted).

EASTER EGGS: If you press ESCAPE during some of the loaders and instructions, then you can skip to loading the game... This works on Napoleon and Time Lords.

All original filenames have been kept where possible, but some have been changed where they conflict with the limitations of the Disc Filing System. Copy protection routines have been removed.
This disc has also been checked for *KEY related issues and is OK.

Regards,
Mick.
