Logotron Logo - Welsh version

Post by johnkenyon » Sat Feb 24, 2018 2:11 am

I've found this version of Logotron Logo - original label on the EPROM, looked like a match for http://mdfs.net/System/ROMs/Graphics/ACTLOGO100
However after running the image through the Unix/Linux "strings" command I see things like "CROESO I LOGO_C" and "rhif rhy uche" which Google translate tells me means "too high number".

Anyway here goes:
LOGOTRON_LOGO_CYMRU.zip

Interesting. Tried it on my Master. It shows as LOGO-C with *ROMs when loaded into SWR but does not start with *LOGO or with *LOGO-C, giving a bad "command error message".

I shall have to look into this and find out what its activation command is.

I've had a brief look at this ROM.

To start the ROM use *LOGO_C and that brings up;
Welcome.jpg
Some of the LOGO primitives I found are;

ML = FD to go forward
DE = RT turn right
CH=LT turn left

So, to draw a square in Welsh LOGO use;
Welsh program.jpg
and its result is;
Result.jpg
The error messages correspond to "I don't understand HELLO" and "Not enough inputs to ML"

It would be great if anyone has the Welsh documentation. [-o<

Some more keywords;

GOLYGU "TED enters the LOGO editor ready to edit a program called TED

I and DIWEDD are equivalent to TO and END. So I TED from the command prompt would allow the entry of a program called TED; DIWEDD exits program entry ready for execution.

DANGOS is equivalent to SHOW. Now what is the Welsh equivalent of MAKE? #-o
