Challenger 3 DD BIOS v1.01 + DDCPM v1.01.fdi
System Disk - Development Utilities.fdi
Phill also imaged them with 22DISK
about six years ago - I'm not sure if I have copies of these images though.
I did have a few copies of the manuals for DDCPM - I remember giving a couple away but I'm sure I kept one. There's a possibility it might be in long-term storage which means it might be several months before I'm able to locate it.
Yes, I still have the fdi's that I never got round to investigate due to things happening here at that time and for a long time did nothing with BBCs... A 7 year wait until an update about this slogger stuff is nothing if life gets in the way!
So the Challenger 3 DD BIOS v1.01 + DDCPM v1.01.fdi is the one I was curious about... (esp. because in my disassembled version, there was an issue with FORMAT not working sometimes depending on moving sections of code around and I must just have overlooked some small detail)
As to the ROM images, I checked 525 and 527: 527 is 32K, first half is identical with 525 so is Challenger 2.00, will be interesting to check that out, then the 2nd half of 527 is "CHADFS 300M (C) Slogger 1987". So finally ADFS for the challenger. Might be the first time ADFS becomes palatable
So that last batch including "Challenger 3 DD BIOS v1.01 + DDCPM v1.01.fdi" doesn't seem to be included in the extracted-files zips, in the SloggerCPMDisks.tar.gz I only see CPM stuff, so the format of that last batch of fdi's is still unknown? I may have a look then this month.
Edit: Wait, there is 'Double Density Bios V1.01' (in file cpsrc101/chbios.mac) so it looks like cpsrc101 is from "Challenger 3 DD BIOS v1.01 + DDCPM v1.01.fdi" ? If so it means no source code for the standard challenger ROM, that would be disappointing.
