Flight Path

Post by billcarr2005 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 6:26 pm

Since it was on an unprotected 3.5" ADFS disk, it was simply a case of

Code: Select all

*ADFS
*LOAD filename 2000
*DISK
*SAVE filename 2000+length exec load
for all 17 files.

Found this, the native DFS version, on a shelf.
All files are the same length (so I'm assuming same content) except for in REPZ, line 7840 on the ADFS version was *??? (which would error) whereas on the DFS version it's CHAIN"CONDZ1" which doesn't usually exist as a file, but code from the file "AUTOST" intercepts the file vector and loads it from a "bad" section of the disk as part of the protection.
Also, since ?&CE8=0, issued in the file "AUTOST" is now set when loading, you're guaranteed to get the title screen.
