Alien Destroyer fails to run in BeebEm and the on-line emulator here...
http://bbcmicro.co.uk/game.php?id=1405

It does work when it is run from the original 079 compilation disk.
so maybe a file or poke is missing???.

It turned out that the game needed *FX200,1 to be set, for some reason. So I added it to the !BOOT as a stopgap.

Hopefully Mick will be able to rework one of the loader programs for this game and include *FX200,1 as a permanent fix eventually.

Thanks for spotting this.

A *FX200,1 has now been added to the loader and will be re-posted with the next batch of amended discs shortly!

Hi All,
I have just re-posted Discs 061 to 080 in Sections 4 and 5.
New instructions have been added to various games including Astefix, Arena, Redcoats and Chickaroo
Other games have been tidied up.
Confrontation, Redcoats and Chickaroo have been Compacted to allow them to run at &1300 and save/load data.

I will take a look at the last bunch of discs asap.
Mick.

Hi All,
I have just re-posted Discs 081 to 100 in Sections 5 and 6.
Some games have been tidied up.
I believe I have sorted the graphics issue with Revenge of the Snowmen on D086.

Jungle Adventure on D100 now allows you to save to disc and a file A.game has been saved to avoid errors.

That's it, I have tidied up all games that needed it.
There are a few games that were taken from disc hacks and I will check and correct these as and when (and if) the tape version come our way.

Why would the link farm need updating? I link to the post that contains the zip file, not the zip file itself. That was deliberate so that when fixes are made and a replacement zip uploaded the link remains constant. The only time the farm should need updating is if a new disk is added.

If you've spotted an error in the farm, then please let me know :-)

I don't know if this was deliberate, but it seems Disc067 wasn't updated in this batch; it still has a timestamp of 2021-06-01 on the zip file whereas the others are 2021-10-09. But maybe you didn't find anything needing fixing on that disk :-)

found a problem with Espionage (Disc 113).

after guessing a few answers, it gave me a security number and loaded part 4.
then showed this error.

maybe i am missing required "knowlegde" supplied in a manual?

I can't reproduce that error. If I keep answering randomly till I get to the question in your screenshot, there's no error:

EDIT: Weird game!
