Forgot to ask at ABUG, but would a AQR version of this be do-able? 16 banks of 16K of persistant storage, selectable with the *AQRPAGE command already in the AP6 support ROM.
The AQR is on the list. I actually bought the memory for it ages ago - chance purchase. I plan to have 2 x AQR in the same case - But not RAM - So, I would think, all of the old software wouldn't work without extensive rework - even then the printer buffer and RAM disc would be out!
Advanced Quartermeg persistant memoRy. ;) In fact, there no reason for the paging register to be limited to 4 bits. 256 * 16K :D Advanced FourMeg Cartridge ;)

Yes, if it's not RAM it's not usable as generic workspace.

Is there a complete one of these in 3D printed case still available please? I have need of something for an econet project and this looks ideal.

Thanks

I have 2 left, however, they're built! PM me if you're interested. I could remove the ICs from their sockets and let you have something to "plug-in" Case or no case?
