Omniflop: Acorn adf to floppy image writer in Windows

Post by Square Mezzmer » Sun Mar 04, 2018 3:59 pm

I have got a new RISC PC 600.

I'd like to write Acorn .adf disks from my Windows PC (Win10) on my new external USB floppy drive. Is this at all possible?

I'm on a tight budget at the moment and the RISC PC has no ethernet or internet access. All I have to put data onto the RISC PC after 3 days of owning it is the USB floppy drive on my Windows PC.

edit: Just found Omniflop on Wocki's Acorn site - http://acorn.revivalteam.de/?site=DiscImaging

omniFlop works with a internal / hardwired floppy drive ONLY.

so USB ones are utter useless, which they are 8)

Format HD 1.6MB DOS floppies on the PC and copy the ADF's to them. Then copy the ADF's to your harddisc on the RiscPC and use ADFFS to mount them.
