Pineapple Virus !Killer

Post by Trapper » Mon Sep 04, 2017 11:51 pm

Does anyone know who owns the rights to this, if at all?

I picked up some floppies on eBay last year and I've finally sorted them out. I have a fully working version 2.800 (requires date set to 1997). I also have 2.400 (had a virus on the disc!!), 2.200 (disc DOA) and 1.<something>.

Considering the state of virus killers after the death of The Vigay !Killer still works incredibly well. We all use the VProtect module in ROM at !Boot - the latest I can find is v4.03.

If it's possible to distribute it would be well worth it. Hell someone could fix the year issue.

It was written and maintained by Allan Glover. He did work for various people including Pineapple and Baildon Electronics/P.R.E.S. He eventually went to work for Acorn where I lost contact with him.

I did go to his wedding . . . Must dig out some photos . . .
