Still in doubt what I will bring.... If someone can arrange an Atom 2k14 with two VGA monitors I will bring my Atom-Beeb-IO board with Pi Zero as intelligent display adapter.

I was idly thinking the other week about trying to organise something in Cambridge in March/April or thereabouts. If anybody else would be interested in that then please speak up!

A few of us chatted about plans for the location of the next ABug at the Leicester event the other weekend - we thought it would better if we gave priority to Robert and his quest to launch a Southern event in or around London and then look at running something in Cambridge later in the year. And yes it's Jason aka jbnbeeb that's organised both of the Cambridge ABugs to-date so I would advise that jbnbeeb is contacted before anybody else starts planning anything!

Incidentally I understand Robert has already made good progress on arranging the Southern ABug and may have something to confirm very soon!


Lastly, we generally try and avoid April for meetups as a lot of StarDotters from across the country attend the Wakefield Show which has been confirmed for 21st April. Also, Robert is still looking at coordinating an ABug/Stardot presence at the Maker Faire in Newcastle the weekend after (28-29 April).

I did get quoted a rate for rooms (which included breakfast and use of Leisure facilities) but it was higher that is currently showing online!
