SourceGen Disassembly Projects

Post by Rocketeer » Wed Aug 12, 2020 9:23 am

What appears to be a new web site dedicated to 6502 disassembly of mainly Apple II games can be found at https://6502disassembly.com/

Of particular interest to Acorn people is an in-depth listing of Apple II Elite including references to common code found in the BBC and C64 sources as well as bugs in the ship data.

The coin-op game Battlezone is included and very relevant to this forum member.

Finally, 6502bench SourceGen, also available on the site via GitHub, appears to be a very comprehensive disassembler used to generate the various listings on the site.

Site owner is Andy McFadden who has a very impressive cv to be found at https://fadden.com/
