Any Valentine software for the BBC?

Post by Commie_User » Wed Feb 14, 2018 7:22 pm

What's out there with a love theme, such as a demo, game or whatever which I can download?

I know there was MATCHMAKER for the Commodore 64: http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic. ... 4aaf205d9d

And on a day like today, let's hope my girl has a headache so I can settle down and really enjoy them!

Looks like there is a problem with that. (I think it was only the second picture in)

Still got to the end, suprisingly easy. All the other pics seemed ok.

Mmmm, seems to have self-censored in sympathy with the current prevailing socio-political mood.

Hopefully it can be fixed and converted to 4096 colours....

Thanks for these. I love the questionnaire stuff, a nice product of its time. I've also THE REAL YOU and KNOW YOUR OWN PERSONALITY boxed too. Though I thought DR. RUTH'S GAME OF GOOD SEX maybe betrayed as much hobbyist enthusiasm as much as doctory stuff. But they put anything on computer in the 80s!

I think the Commodore version of Samantha Fox looks better, more authentically newsprinty. There was another strip poker game where the board covered the naughty bits. Luckily, the teenage pre-online me could use the Action Replay to doctor that and get down to brass tacks. (The Commodore could support mixed screen modes and it literally was removing a part to view in one mode or another. Good old Datel!)
