A5000 using Wifi Dongle

Post by mark71 » Thu Sep 17, 2020 11:58 am

Hi All

Just something as an experiment on getting the A5000 on wifi, of sorts, Bought a Wifi Dongle on Ebay, connected it up and it worked!, see picture below. Connected to a few BBS's, using Hearsay2, one thing could only get the max baud rate to 19200, can the A5000 do higher 115200?.

Next steps set up a local BBS on a Pi for file transfers, rather than zip discs...

I think you might be able to use a higher rate, but you might need to switch to mode 0!
