RiscPC600 - upgrading

Post by Vectrolosys » Tue Aug 25, 2020 7:23 pm

Hi all,

I tend to document the work I carry out on my various retro Acorns. I'll start this thread, explaining some of the upgrades, and struggles I have come up against.

So, I had some pre purchased hardware, laying around. This included a backplane, second case slice, a PC Card and an icubed network podule. I experienced a few hiccups, which were resolved with some switch and contact cleaner.

Setting up the card required downloading a System folder update.

To get FTPc working, I found that merging the System folder, supplied with PC 3.06, actually updated all the resources I required. More to come, but, I hope the videos prove useful and interesting.

James.
