A3020 failed to recieve 4Mb upgrade

Hello, me again
Just got today 4mb upgrade from Mark, so I rushed to install it.

All two memory jumpers set to 4Mb position (from west to east and vice versa).
Powering on give me purple screen, just the very initial purple screen, sometimes it may pass purple and move to blue one.
Anyway I do not even get to POST and its error codes, the machine simply hangs on initial coloured screens.
Mostly purple.
Tried to clear jumpers with IP, reseat memory chips ets, no joy
Removing the chips give me stable loading with no problem

Any ides please?

Upon close look at pics I've noticed I managed to place 1st chip in wrong way around
I think I fried it as now, after reinsert, I got red screen, POST codes

And then it tries to boots and comes with different errors
Right, so this is 00020041 - RAM control line failure
Any ideas what to do next?
Have I burned that chip?

Yeah, Mark already comes to the rescue, so I ordered 2 spare chips
