Hi from Bristol

Post by tomlinson » Tue Mar 11, 2014 10:22 pm

Hi people!

I love Acorn Electrons! Had one since I was 7 (back in 1987)

I'm going to enjoy reading through all the threads on this forum though I do have an ulterior motive for joining...

My favourite Elk has broken and was hoping somebody can help identify the problem. I'll post some details in a bit.

Hi, welcome to our forum! :D

I live far away from you, I'm from Brazil.

I'm sure someone will help you with your Elk!

Hi, tomo - good to see yet another Elk user. Sorry to hear it's a bit poorly and will be only too happy to assist in your repairs, as will lots of other folk around here!

Welcome, tomo. :D

The Elk is very popular here. If it comes to the worst and your Elk is unrepairable there are often cheap ones going on eBay. :)

Hope we can get my Elk up and running again... I'll post details in the hardware section...
