Greetings from Greece to all friends here!
Never had the chance to own a BBC micro since these series were not so popular in Greece at the time, and also quite expensive for our standards back then...
During past years I started a "journey" around all micros of our youth trying to discover everything about them, everything that I missed during old pure home computing years! Not as a collector, but as a real user!
Finally I had the chance to enter BBC micros community due to a friend here who had an excellent Master 128 to pass on. So, here I am, enjoying my first time with a BBC micro and I am really amazed about it's capabilities and potential! Now it's clear to me why Informatics science in UK had such a great growth, since such great micros entered schools... I only wish we were so open-minded here in Greece too...
Nevertheless, here I am, already had great help by studying older posts. I really hope someday that I can offer back to this community.
Great to meet you all.
Kind Regards
Dimitris (aka dimfil)
