Greetings!

Post by starry76 » Tue May 01, 2018 3:36 pm

After lurking on these forums for a while, thought it was finally time to introduce myself. I've been trying to trace the digital history of my Acorn loving life, so here goes:

Electron user submission: http://www.acornelectron.co.uk/mags/eu/ ... /s-p41.jpg

Archimedes World Centipede game (written with the Arcade Game Creator): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkJVUJYcH88 - for which I received the princely sum of £40!!!

Mayhem previously released as a Young Enterprise Scheme company while in 6th form: Reviewed by Acorn Computing in issue 124 (May 93): http://www.acornelectron.co.uk/mags/ac/cats/ac124.html

I then sold 2 games to Cambridge International Software advertised in Acorn Computing issue 131 (Dec 93): http://www.acornelectron.co.uk/mags/ac/cats/ac131.html p70 & 71

Massive kudos to everyone who's been involved in the painstaking work of resurrecting so much Acorn history, truly inspirational. Now time to dust off the RISC PC in the loft and see what's retrievable....

Welcome! :D

That's an impressive portfolio of contributions to the Acorn world! Perhaps I should really be saying, "Welcome back!" :)

Thanks all for the kind words. Sadly the Elk went years ago, but the RISC PC seems to be working ok, except the mouse has lost vertical movement. I wonder if I can fix this without soldering....
