Introduction

Post by alienkidmj12 » Tue Mar 06, 2018 10:16 am

not sure if I introduce myself yet,

my name is David Sives-Rutherford, I've just turned 40 years and I living in Northumberland, UK.

in 1986 my parents bought my a BBC Micro 32k with double Cumana 5.25 disk drive.

I have fond memories of this machine, I had various titles on tape and disk, such as repton 3 / exile etc.

I remember having to adjust the pitch on the tape deck :)

I gave it all away in my late teens.

recently I just got master 128 and fitted rom selector and datacentre, I'm keen to explorer this machine now, and feel more comfortable with working on the internals, back in the day I would have been scared to do this :)

I have recently obtained various bit of acorn / commodore / Atari - its much more interesting than pc's of today,

regards

dave

Welcome back to the Beeb, Dave. :D

The Master is a great machine and it rocks with a DataCentre.
