Hi

Post by Richard_barsby » Sun Oct 01, 2017 6:34 pm

I 1st got into computers while I was working at a company in Leicester called Digivision.

Which produced CRT monitors for the railway, the London underground, industry, and the dealer desks in london and banks.

We did some monitors for the home computer market etc but it was not really are area of business.

I bought my 1st Model B in 1986 for £399 I still have it along with maybe about 6 B's and a B+ board an electron with +3 and +1 6 masters + 4 boards and compacts and most models of the Archimedes a risc PC, 2 Vic 20's Spectrum 48 also a +3, a CPC a cub monitor an Acorn AK18 plus some more I don't remember.

The pictures are from Digivision in it's later years it ceased to exist in about 1990 it was seriously damaged by the market crash in 1987, we had turned all our production to 12" colour autosync monitors for the dealer desks and the city cancelled all orders over night, and we never recovered.
