Hi There from West Yorks

Post by marcusjambler » Mon May 22, 2017 2:55 pm

Hello everyone

I'm a long standing BBC enthusiast. I'm very interested in the development of the PI Tube direct project and have 2 masters running a PI zero and a PI3 on the Boa release.. I have some skills and experience with electronics. It's great to see that there is still so much interest in these 8-bit machines. I am currently re-building my BBC collection after spending many years travelling and working in NZ. Cheers Marcus

Thanks everyone :)

I'm just enjoying the access to all the different 2nd processor formats and software from back then Tricky.
I'm hoping to write or mod some programs to make use of the high speed 6502 like fractals etc which will really benefit from the number crunching speed-up. How about yourself?

Welcome, Marcus. :D

Why do I keep collecting Acorn gear? I'm going to need a considerably bigger man-cave. :?

I keep meaning to run some arcade ROMs on the copro and use the beeb to draw the sprites and sound etc. Like the 6502 circus, ripcord and sprint emulators that I wrote for the beeb.
