Hello!

Post by retroG »

Hello!

I've been lurking for a while but joined after recently buying a BBC B and Cub monitor to try and relive some of my youth. I've previously collected vintage Mac kit but it's been a while since I've used a Beeb so will no doubt need help from the community along the way!

My interest and laterally career in IT was really kickstarted by my father introducing me to the BBC when I was a young boy. I remember him bringing it home from work during the summer holidays and we played the game Pod - asking Pod if he could run, jump, hop etc; and as a father myself now I ultimately want to sit down and play Pod with my little boy.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Cheers,
G

Welcome!

I'd completely forgotten about Pod!
I'll be digging this out to play with my kids too :) I can see my 5 year old loving it

Welcome RetroG.

Lots of very helpful and knowledgable people on this site. I would still be struggling to get my Model B working if it wasn't for their valuable help.

Enjoy the ride!
