My name is Erik Drent and I am from the Netherlands. I bought my first computer in 1982, the acorn atom as a kit. And spent many hours with it as a kid.
I have restored my first old atom and on the way to restoring it I came on this website which helpt me enormous to store it.
I also restored a atari 600xl and a 800 xl, amiga 500 and 2000. But the acorn atom did steel my hart again. It surprised me how quickly I good programing again on the atom, and it's stil fun to do it. I find old computers more fun then computers these days.
These days I am working as a network engineer, first for a big company and know for my self.
