Hi

Post by charlewi » Sun May 20, 2018 9:37 am

Hi

Thought I'd introduce myself as I've been reading these forums for ages. A bit about me - like many here I used BBC Micros at school but I'm most interested in the earlier Archimedes computers. I tried programming on them back in the day but owned a PC at home so inevitably spent most time programming on that and besides, pre-internet it wasn't easy getting started on a platform without manuals. I'm trying to put that right now by coding some hobby projects, no doubt badly. Sorry in advance for any silly questions.

Charlie

Welcome.

I agree, if we had the information and the web available to us then, I probably would have invented Facebook, amazon or google. :)

Have fun

Welcome, Charlie. :D

Why do I keep collecting Acorn gear? I'm going to need a considerably bigger man-cave. :?
