I had completely forgotten about that one. I had that back in the day, I ate a lot of weetabix and belonged to the weetabix club. Ah the memories of cutting out tokens from boxes and posting them off ......

Makes my own little Apple offering on there look rather lame. Perhaps I should increase the reserve price by a factor of 100,000...

I thought they ‘only’ went for a couple of hundred thousand dollars, not nearly two million!

Well it hasn't gone for almost two million yet! I have a suspicion the price may reduce somewhat before it sells.

Exactly the same? There's more to it than which piece of music is on the record. Like anything it's about rarity so if you have a copy where there's a mistake on the label where only a few leaked out before it was corrected then that's more valuable than the more common version. I'm not a record collector myself, it seems a crazy game, but some of the sites that maintain metadata about recorded music: MusicBrainz and DiscOgs seem to have a fair share of collectors among their community.

/\ that's just an example of Ultra Rare LOOK...

If 1st pressing in mint condition it's £360-460ish.

Someone explained fully on a YouTube vid, that the Stereo is not true Stereo (BITD) as it's just basically Mono (never had the proper equipment back in 1960s) Sure the mono one still sounds better, the stereo version is just mono 'stretched' to fake stereo #-o

looks crap to me, mine are all test pressings or dub plates played on pirate radio /unique clubs worth £500 each....

Seems a tad high at £750 for a model B!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BBC-MICRO-wi ... 4629753996

At least p&p is free though. :D

Apparently these ROMs justify the price:

Hello and welcome to LOLPRICE, USA edition.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-Fax-Mode ... 3758334182

Those things aren't exactly common, and I get that it's NOS, but come on.

Bonus item, a NEXT Cube. Again, historically valuable, but... $19K???

https://www.ebay.com/itm/The-1990-NeXT- ... SwFz9eYll6

(Or maybe I'm just annoyed because I used to own a Next Cube and I gave it away for virtually nothing. Oh well.)

...

Late breaking edit! A copy of OS/2 for $15K anyone? https://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-OS-2-Softw ... 2764314698
