Retro Memories

Post by Pablos544 » Mon Aug 27, 2018 8:14 pm

Sup ppl.

Thought I’d post this. Not exactly the Retro Art really as it was all done on an iPad as such, however it does as such represent a modern representation of Retro Art if you know what I mean. This painting is about the Retro Arts we as school children grew up with and got to know and love as part of our every day lives and later went on to shape our lives by.

I thought I’d pick this iconic guy as this guy seems to have survived practically untouched since the eighties.

I like the idea of this picture getting across who I am in the evolution of this wonderful computer not so much as a Wiz Kid but someone who loves the creativity side of the electronics and coding genius of this computer.

Thanks! :D
Pablo.

Nice work Pablo!

I agree about the creative side of our beloved Acorn 8-bits. The nostalgia fuels creativity.

It does truly don't it my mate aerworuld. I think there's a lot to be said for this Art as Art and I think quite often people seem to miss it a bit that it's beautiful indeed. Then again though I think you're a man of your retro Art as well as I've seen your stuff posted on this forum very nice indeed mate! Keep it up ;)

Great pic!

And that's the best use of a Steven Seagal boxset that I've ever seen.
