Re: Acorn Art Thread
I'd love to somehow gather together all the images in this thread (there must be a way for an Admin to do it without it being a manual step) and put them into a Screen Saver for Windows (or at the very least I could see them being in one folder together and having Windows pick one every so often to use as a desktop background image).

Love the Viaduct and Alien Dusk - Although (here we go again) . . .
I think it's the Skipton Viaduct with some of the hills removed to let the sun be seen
And Alien Dusk - surely there should be a lone Indian (Alien Indian
) on a horse in there?
Keep them coming, brilliant

There is no viaduct in Skipton, though Googling 'Skipton viaduct' gives you Ribblehead which is miles away.daveejhitchins wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 11:22 amI think it's the Skipton Viaduct with some of the hills removed to let the sun be seen![]()

The Temple of Zarius.
I took this very old picture and gave it a good facelift.
It was one of the first I did.

Love the cube one, the perspective warps my brain, and the walking man is a great use of colour cycling!

Re: Acorn Art Thread
The other day I painstakingly downloaded all the art from this thread (and the other one that it started on) into one folder on my laptop and I pointed Windows 10 at that folder to display a random image from the folder every 10 minutes as my Windows desktop background.
Lovely images, and the time it took (several hours) was well worth it. The folder contains 794 items so far.
My browser shortcut to this site opens the active topics page, and from there it's a simple task to open this topic and save the latest images as they appear, so I don't have to do this herculean task again. If anyone wants to have a copy of this folder, let me know and I'll zip it up and place it on my Google Drive for you to download.

That's very good of you Simon. It must have taken a while!
At some point I will gather all the pics I have ( in bbc format ) and put them somewhere. That is a big task as they are everywhere....
I hope to start trying some Mode 1 pics soon as I have been in working Mode 2 for so long. Mode 1 has a very different flavour.
Lots of fond memories of AMX Superart in Mode 1 for me....and the AMX ball mouse that kept on collecting fluff!
