Hi everyone

I just managed to get a plus 1 recently too and am in the market for a mega games cartridge too. So plus 1 to add to the requests. Great work keeping the scene going. Hope everyone is safe and well.

Cheers

I have not yet a BBC but need the MEGA GAME CARTRIDGE

Can you add me to the list ?

(The essential of the games will be compatible with the MASTER ?)

As answered elsewhere - MGC Cartridge is Electron only . . .

Is there any progress in a BBC Master version of this?
(Also, is there any chance you can make them in a more yellowy colour to match both my machines? )
Cheers!

My project are on hold, at the moment. I'll let you know when they restart. I suppose I've made a little progress: I now have working DFS and ADFS Explorer on Catalina thanks to Jon Welch re-compiling them for 64 bit (although there are still some tweaks to make, according to Jon). This mean I can do some work outside of the workshop. Still need a working BeebEm, though!

As for the colour . . . If I can find some matching PLA . . . I've asked my supplier who responded with: Supply and demand! I suppose one option is, for those that really need it, to paint them!

Not mottled enough, you need to mixes all those shades like the rainbow types to get that preretrobrite colour.

Hang on, are we trying to print a pre-aged antique cream case, or a factory-fresh case from the 80s?

The former. Well that is my interpretation anyway. Unless people have factory fresh machines at home.

I was only joking with my comment about printing yellowy cartridges.
They currently come in original fresh from the 80s colour, which is fine for me.

I've just managed to snag a Plus One for my neglected Electron, so I'd love a Mega Game cartridge too.

How much including postage to Perth, Western Australia?

Thanks

Steve

Sorry, Steve . . . no PCBs left! I have plans for for a new version, however, there is an alternative solution* from Ramtop in the form of a cartridge with SD card. That should do you just fine.

* Go to search and use Ramtop for the "Search for author:" and tick "Topic titles only"

Or look on the hardware list 8 :) in link below

Although still need to search it, really need to reorganise it.
