Just in case you're waiting for me again Dave, I've still not received any emails so not seen any videos? No worries if you're simply strapped for time but just thought I'd bump it.... :)

Sorry, Martin . . . I've been over to Manchester laying laminate flooring in my eldest daughters new extension <sigh>

I need to go back, some time soon, to change a radiator in my youngest daughters utility room <bigger sigh> lol

I'll get something sent this weekend.

No rush at all Dave, I have a myriad of other projects on the go so by all means take your time. I was really just checking that the video hadn’t gone missing again and that you weren’t waiting for me again 😎

Hi there,

I'm interested in one of these. How much are they please? I take it they work on any electron with a plus one adapter or is a plus 3 needed also?

Many Thanks,

Wow! . . . That was posted on the 16th July  And I claimed compensation for a lost package - the tracking says it's just leaving the UK  I think it reached Canada and was it given to a student to deliver, on foot =D>

I think my record was a pi zero that took 3 months to reach me after being posted. The replacement arrived in days, never did get an answer to where the other one had been. Fallen down the back of the sorting machine maybe.

Dave, do you have any cartridges available to buy? I've finally got myself a Plus 1 and it really needs a cartridge to go with it.

Yes, lots left . . . If you go to the first post in this thread, download the spreadsheet, fill-in and return to the

I just thought I'd mention that I've updated the repository containing the ROM recipes to include tools to download the UEFs or SSDs needed to create ROM images and patch/convert them if necessary, before the step to generate ROMs. Most of the original UEFs are from the Stairway To Hell. Most SSDs (and a couple of DSDs) are from Every Game Going.

In principle, it should be possible to run the scripts obtained from there, using tools available from other repositories, and end up with ROMs that can be installed on the MGC. Games that only need one or two ROM slots should also work in other ROM-based add-ons.

I do know that work is progressing on a Mega Games Cartridge (MGC) MK II

I still have one board left, however, someone is in the process of selecting their Games from the spreadsheet - so it's probably sold!

I do have a few of the 29F032s left so I may add a few more boards to my next JLCPCB order* - Keep your eyes on this thread!

* These boards won't have gold plated edge contacts!!

Will there be another batch of these mega cartridges available at some point? Or did I completely missed the boat on this?

I think you missed the boat, though there is another boat getting ready to sail in the form of the MGC Mk II. Dave H (daveejhitchens) will be along shortly to give you details, no doubt. :D

You've missed the first two batches, sorry. The main issue, with making more, is obtaining the 29F032. As they've become difficult to find, the price has gone through the roof. All is not lost, however! I'm on with MGC MKII - but currently it's suffering from lack of my time!
