Nick Pelling (ORLANDO) interview in 'GamesTM' magazine!

Post by garfield » Thu Jan 12, 2006 3:14 pm

Just a heads-up that you might want to pick up a copy of this month's "GamesTM" retrogaming magazine on the newsstands, as it features an interview with Orlando (Nick Pelling) inside!

Thanks, I'll ring me mate up now (who runs a newsagents) and ask him to drop a copy off this evening.

Think I'll add it to the frontpage too ...

Actually, what's the date on the cover? i.e. is it the January or February edition? (I'd check the homepage except it seems to be down at the moment).

I don't have the coverdate to hand, but it's issue #40, with "Animal Crossing:Wild World" as the cover feature.

Just finished reading it ... a pretty good read and 4 pages too!

But the best thing is ... I haven't even had to pay for it (my mate can quietly slip it back onto the shelves tomorrow) .... heheheh .

Cheapskate? Moi?

That was a good interview, though I get the feeling that since Darran left and went to work for RG, they haven't got much material to put in the retro section (as previously this interview would have been likely to have been edited down by a couple of pages!). Also the next two issues are going to be filled with 'The Top 100 games' which is slightly worrying...

There is an interview with Orlando in one of the more recent Retro Gamer magazines.
