BeebEm Motion Blur

Post by melchett » Tue Jul 05, 2005 8:08 pm

I downloaded the latest BeebEm today and found that it contains a new motion blur feature. The best way to describe this having played with it for 10 minutes is "Genius" . Try playing some of the old classics with motion blur cranked up to 8 frames per second! Chuckie Egg looks amazing as does Dare Devil Dennis and Firetrack. Elite and the Repton Series (any four way scroller) make me a bit queazy but it's a worthwhile feature none the less. I'm sure playing some of these games with motion blur on full after a few glasses of wine or some beers would be quite surreal.

Be interested to hear from other people out there about any games you think have massively benefitted from this feature? Please keep this feature in BeebEm Mike!

Wonder if there are any other graphical enhancements that could improve BBC games?

I've just tried Galaforce - Motion Blur was made for this game!
