AP6 rom incompatibility with Codename Droid

I have just discovered a rather odd incompatibility betwen Codename Droid and the AP6 rom. With the rom inserted, the game runs, but black background tiles are filled up with mostly-white but also slightly randomised corruption. I'm talking about the ADFS disc version.

I'm not suggesting that this is a big deal, but it might be useful to know about. Might also point to other compatibility issues too.

Have you tried turning off the Plus 1 functions? - From the User Guide: "OSBYTE 163,128 Enables and disables various Plus 1 features". However, you're not going to be able to use the call whilst running the MGC. A way around this is to *UNPLUG the AP6 ROM before running the MGC.

Let me know if this makes a difference. If it does then I'll make sure that a fix is added for the next batch and also offer the fix for anyone with a current MGC.

It would be interesting to know if there are problems with Codename Droid, or any other games for that matter, when running from the MGC with an AP6 present. Indeed, it would be useful to know about any incompatibilities that people have discovered.
