Repton 2 BBC Master 3.5" Disk

Post by dansauk » Thu Oct 12, 2017 6:23 pm

Hi All,

I have found a copy of this in my attic, looks to be complete, boxed (jewelcase) with disk and instructions etc..

I can't seem to find any reference on the net as to it's value, other than one page that has it marked as "RARE".

Anyone got an idea of value, as I am thinking of selling it... I never even owned a BBC let alone a BBC Master, so no idea how I acquired it in the first place :D

BBC Software is a bit fickle - it's not like speccy/c64 stuff where there are avid collectors, the beeb scene is more hardware focussed. Certain software titles do attract higher prices:

Elite
Exile
Granny's Garden and 4mation titles
Dr Who and the Mines of Terror
Acornsoft Languages

The rest tends to be a bit "meh" be it on disk or tape.

(I should also add, not tested will reduce value).

Hi there,

rare is probably pusing it tbh. I picked one up last month for £8 delivered and here is one off ebay that went for a fiver a few days ago.

Yes, I saw that version on Ebay

Mine is the 3.5" disk version though, not the 5.25" ;) and also is the version for BBC Master.. not regular BBC

I will put it on ebay next week, and see how it goes :)

Isn't it just the Master Compact version? I used to have a few copies of this, wouldn't say it was hyper rare - then again, original Master Compact games are hardly easy to source either ...
