Current work on White Light...

Post by Dethmunk » Sat Jul 16, 2016 12:19 pm

Hey Acorners. I've been helping out on graphics for White Light - an unofficial sequel to Fire Track. It's a superb shooter by Sarah Walker. I've kindly been given permission to spread the love and show off some of the graphics.... These are taken from the Level Editor and give you a small flavor of what's to come... Hope you like 'em. :D

Looks great! =D>
Is there any reason why the level is only 16 blocks wide, instead of 20 (like Firetrack)?

Because it reduces screen memory. Also it gives the game more of an arcade 'vertical' feel.

Was lucky enough to play this at Wakefield and it's brilliant. Firetrack is one of my favourite Beeb games and this is looking like a more than worthy successor.

Keep up the good work!

This is so cool.
There is so much wonder in the universe; why should you want to imagine that there is more?

Thanks guys.... Sarah is the real star though. It is indeed shaping up to be one of the best shooters on the Beeb imo. :)
I might be slightly bias though LOL.
Proper screenshot...
