New validation

Hi admins,

Please could you have a look at new member Stephen Walters' account validation?

He's joining us from the myAcornElectron Facebook page and is looking forward to getting into things here.

Re: Interpreting Plus 1 Analogue Joysticks

^^^ it's a fair point! Actually, my son has GoSDC on his unexpanded Electron too, but I haven't been able to get it to work I just get DRIVE UNAVAILABLE in DFS or ADFS.

Might need to devote some time to that, but that's for another thread

Re: Interpreting Plus 1 Analogue Joysticks

Actually , scratch that. Nobody will be playing it on an actual Elk without a Plus 1 anyway (it's an ssd) and in an emulator you just need to activate Plus 1 to get around it. So it's all good. What about people with a Rombox Plus (which doesn't have an analogue port)? :D *scarpers* d. Don't make m...

Re: Interpreting Plus 1 Analogue Joysticks

thanks all, Moge of Tossle now has the option of 1 or 2 player Analogue Joystick control 8) I can test Player 1 with joystick but i don't have the 2 in 1 Voltmace's, etc., for the Analogue port. Why don't you ask him if he has any copies of the entries submitted to his Acorn Electron text adventure competition in the mid 80s? Re: which Beeb or Elk port?

So, I've been busy! It's not a direct version of Wizard of Wor on the Electron, but I have put together a two-player arena style one on one Elk game heavily inspired by it....The game is written in Basic =D> Can't promise I'll have time to look (those killer TODO lists are after me) but well done! ...

Interpreting Plus 1 Analogue Joysticks

wotcha! As you may have seen, i've been busy writing some games for the Elk; my latest creation is a Wizard of Wor simultaneous 2 player battle arena thingy. It's alright with keys, but I would love to be able to control one of the little fellas with my analogue joystick. Could someone help me out w...

Re: which Beeb or Elk port?

For me, it's Wizard Of Wor. I never played the Arcade orginal but I worship the 2600 and C64 versions. So is someone going to get coding? ello all, once more ;-) So, I've been busy!
