Hi there,

I'm interested in one of these. How much are they please? I take it they work on any electron with a plus one adapter or is a plus 3 needed also?

Many Thanks,

Brett Rogers

Is the pricing at the top of the thread still relevant?

To be honest I have a couple of spare empty Master ROM carts and plenty of EPROMs but this does seem an awful lot more convenient!

Re: Just bought a GOSDC for my Acorn Electron

I did have it going to an SRAM slot in AP6 but had some issues, forget what, so went back to cartridge SRAM, would make life easier if John did you feature request. Only the 'slower' version of GoSDC will work in the AP6 - this will be fixed in the next version - probably quite soon, as I'm just ab...

Re: Just bought a GOSDC for my Acorn Electron

Thanks, Duncan . . . Currently away from home and couldn't remember all the commands! Note: Whichever cartridge slot you configure the 'GoSDC-Cartridge' in e.g. in this case the rear one, you'll need to use each time. I have a request in with John (Kortink) for the firmware not to be 'slot' specific...

Re: Just bought a GOSDC for my Acorn Electron

I take it you've already configured the E00 DFS with the GoSDC? Are you using the Cartridge version? If you are using the cartridge version of GoSDC then have you got the links set correctly so GoSDC appears in slot 13 leaving RAM in one of the cartridge slots? Have you got the original Plus 1 ROM s...

I don't think the pins on the A3000 motherboard are gold-plated, does that cause a problem with dissimilar metals?

Does anyone have a tip holder (the silver thing with holes), that comes with the Aoyue 2703A, they dont want? Oddly one of the few thing you cant get as a spare. So to get another I would have to buy the whole stand (which cost £15 or so). I could swap the solder holder for the tip holder if that i...

Around eight hours from start to finish and that's just the box surround. Manuals and instruction can take a lot longer, particularly if they're long, intricate with embedded images, or worse have text overlaying images.

I guess the question then is: repairable by someone of average competence (me!) or by a specialist?
