Re: Trying to repair a couple of Electrons

I noticed that both non-working ULAs have totally different sockets for the same chip. Lack of parts on later Elks? Yes, I've seen three different types of ULA socket on Electrons. Two of them are remarkably resilient with the other prone to pin snapping - fortunately repairable! The Electron servi...

Slogger & Prime's MRB (Master RAM Board - Turbo)

I and others have noticed a problem with running some hardware with Prime's MRB. Note: There's lots of testing still to do and the problem may not be the MRB, however, testing so far (see below) does indicate this . . . The problem I'm seeing is with disc access: ADFS with Acorn's Plus 3 and my AP3 ...

Re: Non-https links to specific posts don't redirect correctly

B-em runs on more recent mac os :) Personally I don't think the compiling is very far down the techy-route (I perhaps unfairly think if you're using unsupported free software you should be prepared to get your hands a bit dirty here and there). Perhaps someone will work out how to package it nicely...

Pop it in dishwasher - dry in the oven @ 60C for an hour - job done . . . If you’re worried about any labels, on the PCB, remove first (use hair drier, if needed) then re-attach.

I have not made the PCBs yet, but I would make them to the same design. so your metal cases could be used.

Re: Pegasus 400 board traces.

I need a case, is there any 3D Print STL files to suit the Pegasus board? Did you make the Pegasus PCB 'identical' to the original? e.g. with the mounting holes and connector in the same place? If you did then I have metal cases for them see here . I also have 5 x original Pegasus boards that look ...

Restoration of Three Cumana Electron Disc Interfaces

I have four Cumana Electron Disc Interfaces . Three belonging to Elk Towers and the fourth belonging to Arcadian. All four are a little worse-for-wear due to battery leakage :? I'll be drawing the schematic as I go through the restoration. Three of the boards are issue 'D' - the fourth is an issue '...

Slogger User Guides - Fliers - ROMS

I'm starting this thread to gather all the Slogger User Guides, with associated ROMs, and Fliers into one place. Dave Moore (Arcadian) left me with a pile of Slogger products. The labels I have are listed here and here are the User Guides and Fliers I have, in no particular order. I'll be editing th...
