Re: Alien Break-In by Romik for the BBC Micro.

I am glad to see my second attempt at sending a disc copy of the game worked. I also have a copy of Atom Smasher also by Romik for the BBC B that I copied onto disc. There were graphics issues with the game which I sorted. I think these were Emulator related and not a fault with the uef file. Atom S...

Jet Pilot and Bounty Hunter

Hi, Does anyone have a copy of Jet Pilot by Com-soft or Bounty Hunter by J. D. Tronics for the BBC B. I would like uef tape copies if possible, but disc images will do if that is all there is. I am not sure if either of these titles actually ever got released as I never had them back in the day. Jet...

Re: Alien Break-In by Romik for the BBC Micro.

I think I used a single sided disc image.
I have copied the game onto a double sided disc and included a !boot file to chain the game.

I hope I have got it right this time!

Re: Fault with high score table on Copter Caper

I think the disc I used originally was a single sided one and may not work correctly on all setups. I have now copied Copter Caper onto a double sided disc. Hopefully, this will now work. I have also included a !boot file to chain the game. This game is designed for use on Beebem in Model B mode wit...

Re: Alien Break-In by Romik for the BBC Micro.

I am sorry about the content of the disc i have posted. There is a problem with it. I will make a new copy tomorrow and re-post it. I will include a !Boot file. All my games have been transferred over to chain in at &1900 on a BBC B with Acorn DFS 1.20. I have not tested them on a Master or Acorn 17...

Beebem and Clogger etc

I have noticed that 3 games that do not work properly on the BBC B emulator but do work when switched to the Master emulator even though they were BBC Micro Releases. These games include - Clogger and E-Type by Gordon Key and Repton Infinity from Superior Software. All of these will allow you to pla...

Pharaoh's Curse by H. Soft

All copies of this game on the net are faulty. I am not sure if this is because beebem does like pokes to &FE40. I did get the game running by altering all data between &1E3D to &1E43 to &EA in the main game, but then it crashes at the end of the first level. I am not sure if there is another ?&FE40...

Alien Break-In by Romik for the BBC Micro.

The Alien Break-In game in the archive is for the Electron. The BBC tape version was protected. I have re-transferred the uef copy onto disc. Also I have been able to restore the little loading tune which played whilst the main game loaded. The tune data was stored in the first block of data in the ...

Re: Titles missing from the archive

Many thanks CMcDougall for the disc image. I had already copied the tape image to a blank disc to look at later. It is always nice to be able to compare both the original tape or disc based game with a copy so that all files including loading screens and instructions can be included in the final edi...

Fault with high score table on Copter Caper

When you get to the high score table on Copter Caper by A&F software the game will crash or become faulty. This is not due to any emulator related issues and I had the same problem on my real BBC Micro back in 1985. Luckily, I kept some of my notes and I was able to re-transfer the uef copy of the g...

Re: Titles missing from the archive

I have come across a copy of Bridgehead on the net but the game is a disc copy and the 1st file is missing which sets up the variables for the main game. The game cannot be played without it. I don't suppose anyone has a uef copy of this game or a disc copy containing both files. Many thanks, Mick B...

Re: Titles missing from the archive

Both copies I had were for the BBC Micro. They had mode 7 teletext instuctions and the main games were both machine code. When I re-married and moved house a couple of years ago, most of my original tapes and discs got put into boxes and I still have not been able to locate them. I will have a look ...

Titles missing from the archive

Hi, 2 games that I remember having were Secta Invaders by PSS software and Star Hawks from Orion Software. Both were average Space Invader clones but were OK. I had the original Tape to Secta Invaders but I am not in a position to obtain a uef transfer from it. It would be nice if anyone has these t...
