OK, I'd also pay the dispatch, but I'd like to trade the disk drive for a BBC joystick then (for the Master). Who's interested?

5.25" BBC disk drive + extras for free

Dear friends, Yesterday I´ve won an auction on eBay UK but, unfortunately, it seems that I haven´t read its description properly. The case is the seller won´t send it to Brazil. Take a look at the auction: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200076111899 "Here's a 40/80 track disk d...

I can do you a brand new, boxed one for just £8 if you want! ;)
Cool! I´ve just sent you an e-mail on the joystick.

Technically I would have to say Exile is the best game ever on the BBC that I have played. If you do decide to play it just make sure you get a copy of the instructions so you know what they keys are. I'm really enjoying playing Arcadians at the moment! :D Kind regards, Francis. Cool. Exile looks a...

A question about joysticks

Dear friends,

What joystick could I use with a BBC Master? A 15-pin one? Wich one is recommended?

What about this one?

Yes it should work, but you will probably need to wire in the resistors as with the SCART version since the BBC outputs a higher voltage for the video signals which could damage the monitor. I've actually got a couple of Commodore 1084ST monitors myself, although I've never tried connecting the BBC...

Hi there, The pin outs and how to make up a BBC to SCART is detailed here: http://www.acornelectron.co.uk/eug/66/a-scar.html . Kind regards, Francis. Thank you very much, Francis, I really appreciate it. I want to connect my Master to a Commodore 1084S monitor for Scart connectors aren´t common in ...

Thanks,

I´ve got a BBC Master too. I´d like to know about compatibility as well.

The best BBC game ever?

Dear BBC friends, I am new to BBC Micro and thus I´d like to know please what is the best BBC game ever. I guess that´s a tricky question... I heard the 128 Kb version of Elite is fantastic, maybe the best Elite version. I heard Exile and Repton are cool games too. What do you say guys? What game sh...

Hello from Brazil

Dear BBC fans, My name is Marcus, I´m 33 years old and I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I collect classic video game systems and 8 bit computers since 1995. British computers were always famous down here, specially the Speccy. As a matter of fact, two Speccy 48 Kb clones were produced in Brazil, TK90X a...

BBC Master RGB pinout required

Dear BBC fans, My name is Marcus and I´m from Brazil. I collect classic video game systems and 8 bit computers. Recently I bought a BBC Master and will receive it within a month I guess. I´d like to connect it to a RGB monitor, possibly a Commodore 1084S monitor. I read somewhere that I could use an...
