Parallels is doing fine.
This application just installs a windows version and runs it like a wintel machine.
So it's really quick now :D

Cheers

Koen

P.S. even parallels is working now, please don't stop to make a mac version ;)

Thanks for all your enthusiasm! This gives me more fun to create an adventure. I do not know if I'm going to convert the adventure to these other systems, but I have to find out if I like writing this adventure before converting it. But First I have to finish the paperwork and the story ;) Let me kn...

Hi Francis, Yeah I can't wait till you have the Mac version. (maybee i'm going to need it for my adventure ;) ) I tried version .10 but this one does not work either. I tink it must be the CrossOver application. It is a system that works on OSX and can emulate Wintel machines without having Windows ...

Francis,

with version .8 I managed with CrossOver (for mac) to get the application running and converting.
But version .9 can run and open images, but does not give me any result.
It looks like it does not start converting.

Any clue on this?

New Text Adventure?

Just wondering.

I'm planning to write a text Adventure, but I do not know if there is anyone who is interested to play the game.

So are there people who like to play a totally new adventure?

Nice idea!
A lot of work too.

But if you are busy, maybe try to remove the spaces before each line. So then you can write it as a text file and ElectrEm can read the text file.
But with those spaces before i did not work.

I tried it with Dino and then it did not work.

Good luck

Or is there no screen address anymore in 64 k mode? I do think there must be, because i can stil draw l...

Electron 64k mode

Hi All, Al little question I have about the 64k mode. When I have saved a screen mode 1 (*save screen 3000 8000 if i'm correct) in normal electron mode i can see it again when I type *load screen 3000. But 64k Mode it is not at 3000 anymore. I remember that something has changed in this. (I thought ...

Grand Jon!
It works fine, even when I have created a finl adventure. So that you can save the game on disc during game play. Great!

Does this code line also work on other adventures/games etc?

Cheers

Thanks for trying. I thought it would be difficult. It's a lot of assembly code. And I know things in Basic, but not in assembly. If anyone else has a solution It would be great. For now I'll use BeebEm to save to tape images. Hope saving to tape images will work soon on ElectrEm as well. Cheers Koen

The Quill

Hi all, For the electron and BBC I found The Quill. The application to write text adventures. I got the electron version working with ElectrEm, but I cannot save on tape images with ElectrEm (or am I doing something wrong?) The disc image from the BBC page says it's a disk version, but I think it is...

Hello to you all

Hi, It has been a long time ago that I spend much time with an Electron. And since I found ElectrEm and BeebEm for the Mac, my passion starts all over again. Maybe it's all happening because I just got a son, he's 4 moths old now, and I think it must be me going back to my childhood. Well I hope to ...
