Small article on the BBC Micro on BBC Radio 4 this morning

There was a small article and an interview regarding the Computer Conservation Society and the BBC Micro on the "Today" programme this morning at about 08:45.

Listen again page http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/

If you select the 0830-0900 file, it is 15 minutes and 25 seconds in.

Ah - look:

Could it be Temple of Terror? That's obviously what I was thinking of as it is based on a Fighting Fantasy book.

What's interesting is the explanation for not releasing a beeb image. The emulators aren't good enough! (??)

Adventure solutions needed

Currently on the Classic Adventures Solution Archive's wanted list are Gateway to Karos and Quondam. Someone must have solutions to these two somewhere?

Re: Adventure solution

Now that it's the summer holidays, I am going to have some time on my hands. One of the things I want to do is complete Micro Power's Adventure (yes it's not the best adventure, but it has been bothering me since I was 8!) Has anybody completed this adventure? Is there a walkthrough somewhere? I ha...

Imagine my disappointment when I found the BBC version has a text option "Shoot to the left or right" and then ...

In my opinion the worst ever was "Footballer of the Year" from Gremlin. I sent my cassette back to the publishers with a letter of complaint. They didn't quibble, but sent me a free game. Can't recall which now though.

I have been in touch with Robert from The BBC Lives a few times over the years, but last time I e-mailed him (probably over a year ago now) I received no reply.

Does anyone have any news at all about the future of these two very important sites?
