Re: MMFS SD Card on the BBC B Printer Port?

Hi Jason,

I’ve not tried any of these on a master, I didn’t get round to it at the time as something else came up.

As you don’t have a master, I’m happy to test it out under your instructions as required...but I’m no expert.

Hi chrisn,

Glad to hear you got yours working, where did you get the info on the commands...
Quote.
[Edit] The board is working fine at 1MHz and 2MHz (using ?#BFFE=70), but if I select 4MHz (?#BFFE=38) the Atom hangs.
I don’t see the in the Manual.

Hi Folks, I have applied the changes suggested by cjm, the Atom showed the same results as in the following link. :( It did however appear to go faster than before. https://stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=44&t=18020&start=210#p294864 The changes.... 55B058C3-B73E-4217-8CD0-85F795A56847...

Re: Atom Unknown IC 24

I’ve just tried to erase the rom in my uv cabinet, cooked it for 30mins......no change.

I’ll have to get another on flea bay for testing and just-in-case moments.

Hi Roland,

I look forward to receiving the parts for testing.

I could move to your neighbours house ok , but you will have to have a local , “ Church of Scotland “ Church nearby as my wife is a Minister.

Hi Roland,

That would be the best next step/solution, if we lived in the same town it would be much easier.

I’m happy to pay the postage.

Re: Atom Unknown IC 24

Hi Hoglet,

Yes it looks like it, as long as I know now that my WE Adder will burn the HN462532G, I can go ahead and remove the YARRB, replace my ic’s, burn an AtoMMC rom and see how the atom behaves after that.

Re: Atom Unknown IC 24

Hi Hoglet, I’m having some bother with my newly installed YARRB, the reason I was looking into what was on ic24 and how to program it was that i intended to remove the YARRB completely and reinstall my ic’s to see if the AtoMMC and atom were working as they should without the YARRB present. I’ve nev...

oss003, when you say, “ just read the ROM with your reader” do you mean, a programmer ?

I was hesitant to do that before in case it fried it....

Atom Unknown IC 24

Hi Folks, When I bought my Atom a month ago it had a rom in ic24, with my limited knowledge, and not having the command *ROMS I couldn’t find out what it contained. I have a WE Adder programmer, so I had an idea to read the rom in the adder, but, the Rom is a, HN462532G, the adder has can program a ...

Hi Folks, That’s a bit of a bummer..... Unfortunately I don’t have another 8255 or a suitable programmer, I have a Mini Pro TL866A but the chip ID is not listed, and a WE ADDER. I have also built your noise killer but can’t tell if it’s running or not, I can’t see any difference in the screen display, it’s good without it and with it......does it need to be activated or does it just sit there and do it’s thing....
